Management of Dementia

There are 18 million people with Dementia the world over. In India the figure is about 3 million. According to Dr. Nori Graham, head of ADI, “a stigma is attached to Dementia. Families are reluctant to admit that they have someone with a dementia problem for fear of social consequences.”

This training course addresses the physical, social, behavioural and medico – legal symptoms and aspects of the disease and its impact on the society. The trainees learn how to detect and measure the disease scientifically and how to manage the issues professionally.
